The Bagh offers you exclusive Jungle safaris in the deep forests of Kanha. There are two jeep tours every day, where a driver and naturalist pick you up at the resort and drive you to Kanha National Park. It is among the top tiger reserves in India with a good tiger density and common sitings. The length of each safari varies between 3 to 5 hours, depending on the time of year.
Central India is home to several species of birds and animals and Kanha, being a reserved forest, is among the safest havens for them. Even though it is most popular for the Royal Bengal Tiger, Kanha is the natural habitat of the highly endangered hard-ground Barasinghna. Tigers, leopards, wild dogs, wild cats, foxes and jackals are found in abundance besides many species of deer and otherwise a rarity in India, the sloth bear. Not just animals but Kanha is also home to over 300 species of birds.
